to4ak.com is a personal website about bicycle touring.

Yesterday

 It started out as a joint idea in 2008. Back then, I, together with few friends decided that we need to do something to share our experiences related to bicycles so people would not make the same mistakes. So the first bicycle related web page in Macedonia was born: www.to4ak.com. It was focused about the bicycle scene in Macedonia, and it was all in Macedonian language. In fact the original web page is still on-line at mk.to4ak.com. 

 However, over the years my friends lost interest to write. By 2010, the web site became very silent, with but a few occasional posts. At the same time, a few more, new, bicycle related web pages were created covering topics on urban, mountain and downhill cycling. Which, posed a need to define a focus in the work of to4ak.com.

 By 2012 I developed my style as a bicycle rider towards bicycle touring. But I could not leave to4ak.com to simply die out. And I still had the urge to write and share the experience. Therefore, I decided that it is time to dedicate my self on making a bicycle touring web page. So in late 2012, I asked for permission from my former co-writers, and I decided to revive to4ak.com by making it into my personal bicycle touring web page.

 However, since I had constant requests from foreign people to tell them about cycling in Macedonia, I decided that the new web page should be in English. This way you can read it easily, and I will not need to repeat my self over and over, every year. 

 By early 2013 I had the new web page set up, and I started writing. And not only about bicycle touring in Macedonia, but also about everywhere that I have been with my bicycle. Slowly, filling the pages and making it into what it is now.

Today

 Wait. I am not done yet. I have a lot of roads to ride with my bicycle …a lot of stories to write. And you have still a lot of questions to ask. So feel free to contact me if you want to know something else. I will surely put the answer, here, in some post so others can read it as well.

 Oh, just do not mind about my slow pace. I write just as I ride my bicycle - enjoying.

Tomorrow

 If someone wants to join me in writing… hey, why not! The more the merrier.

 I hope that I will have some revenue from google ads one day to cover the costs of hosting, but I would not count on any profit. It is a volunteer's work.
 Perhaps some goodies would come out, or a book … who knows. Stay tuned.
